Happy Friday! Another week down!
Hope this week has been a good one. We're about 25 days into the 2023-24 school year. This week wrapped up most of the Open House events at our schools. Thank you for the great turnout our schools have reported.
There are lots of fall activities happening throughout our town and surrounding community this month, and we do hope you get a chance to visit a few!

National Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th to October 15th. National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens who have ancestry originating in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Paper Shredding and Recycling Event taking place in The Baldwin Center (Parking Lot) at 1000 West Broad Street.

Time: 9:00AM to 12:00 PM
Funds raised will help provide Stratford students with educational programs and services.
(For Electronics and Batteries too!)
BHS Marching Band and Color Guard is hosting a Can and Bottle Drive from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM on the 2nd Saturday of every month. This event will happen year-round come rain or shine.
The location of the event is the Eli Whitney Elementary School Bus Loop located at 1130 Huntington Road - Stratford CT 06614.
Come out and donate your cans and bottles to help out the Marching Band and Color Guard!
2nd Annual Safety Day/Trunk or Treat
Back by popular demand, it's the 2nd Annual Safety Day & Trunk or Treat sponsored by the Town of Stratford.
Come and see Police! Fire! EMS! 911 Dispatch! Health Dept.! YMCA! Community Services! BOE Health!
There will be an opportunity to Touch-a-Truck, there'll be Food Trucks, Give Aways and much more!
Don't miss out on this fun event taking place Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00AM to 2:00 PM on the Shakespeare Theater Grounds.
The Great Pumpkin Festival
Celebrate Stratford. The Great Pumpkin Festival is back! Come out to Boothe Memorial Park on Saturday, October 21, 2023!
The event takes place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Lots of fun including a Pumpkin Carving Contest, Costume Parade, Entertainment, Food, DJ and so much more!
