Hello Stratford Families, Staff and Community!
We're getting closer and closer to the final countdown. Only 32 days of school left in the 2024-25 School Year!
The weather is getting nicer and there's lots of cool events going on in our community. Hope you get the chance to make it to some of them!
Have a wonderful Weekend!
National Recognition – Outstanding History Educator
We are thrilled to celebrate Stratford High School’s very own Kathy Mack, who was selected as the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Outstanding Teacher of American History – 3rd Place National Award Winner! After earning both the local Eunice Dennie Burr Chapter Award and the Connecticut State DAR Award, Kathy now holds national recognition for her excellence in teaching American history. Her 28 years of dedicated service, enriching student experiences, and passion for history education make this achievement truly well-deserved. Congratulations, Kathy—we are so proud of you!

Week 16: AI and Environmental Impact
Did you know AI is being used to solve environmental problems? Scientists and researchers use AI to track climate change, optimize energy use, and even monitor endangered species. AI-powered systems analyze massive amounts of environmental data, helping experts predict natural disasters, improve conservation efforts, and reduce pollution.
Discussion Starter: Ask your child how they think AI could help protect the environment. Can they imagine an AI tool that could make a positive impact in your community?
Disclaimer: These ideas and resources were curated with the assistance of ChatGPT, an AI language model developed by OpenAI. While ChatGPT provided guidance and support in generating content, the ultimate responsibility for the content provided lies with the Stratford Public Schools.
