STRATFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS COMMUNICATION PLAN - Week 7
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
In continuation of sharing information on AI. The Stratford Public Schools AI Task Force is working to help provide staff and families the information they need on what Artificial Intelligence means for the education world.
Week 7: Supporting Math and STEM Learning
AI programs like DreamBox and Khan Academy adapt to a child’s math abilities, offering personalized lessons. These platforms make challenging concepts more approachable and engaging through interactive problem-solving.
Tip: Use AI tools as a supplement to your child’s homework routine to reinforce learning.
Author Visit at Nichols Elementary
On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the Nichols Elementary School kindergarten students had a visit from District Videographer, Lou Spetrino. Mr. Spetrino wasn't there to film, but rather read "Finley, the Goblin," a children's book he wrote.
The students loved the booked and enjoyed the presentation!
