STRATFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS COMMUNICATION PLAN - Week 12

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Week 12: AI and Digital Citizenship – Teaching Kids to Think Critically

AI-generated content is everywhere, from news articles to social media posts. Teaching children to evaluate sources, fact-check information, and think critically about what they see online is crucial. In today’s digital age, where misinformation and bias can easily spread, fostering these skills empowers students to be responsible digital citizens.
Tip: Encourage your child to ask, “Who created this? Is this information reliable?” when encountering AI-generated content.

Disclaimer:  These ideas and resources were curated with the assistance of ChatGPT, an AI language model developed by OpenAI. While ChatGPT provided guidance and support in generating content, the ultimate responsibility for the content provided lies with the Stratford Public Schools.
