Electronic Devices (Cell Phone) - Policy # P5131.81
As part of Stratford Public Schools' commitment to creating a positive learning environment, an update has been adopted regarding the Cell Phone/Electronic Devices Policy , which was approved by the Board of Education at their June 23, 2025 meeting. This policy establishes clear guidelines for student use of cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, and other wireless devices at school.
The complete policy is linked above for your reference. Below you'll find a summary of the key points that affect your student. We encourage you to review this information with your child to ensure they understand the expectations.

Updated School Hours for 2025–2026 -
Beginning this School Year (2025-26), 15 minutes will be added to the school day at all grade levels. This adjustment is intended to increase instructional time and further enrich student learning experiences across the district.
